I've been incognito for a little over a week now, primarily due to having an extremely hectic workload. I will admit, my last two weeks of hairstyles haven't been the cutest. Week one's bun was AWESOME, but my fingers grew tired of manuevering my hair around extra bands and pins...or maybe I just got lazy...hmmm...
Week two's hair was just a puff...yea I know...not really a protective style...I'm a bum....I admit it!
I did MUCH better for Week three:
I initially created around 10 chunky twists after washing my hair on Saturday; I had the notion that I was gonna wear a bug fluffy twist out, but by Monday, I decided to separate each twist into four smaller twists. To moisturize while re-twisting, I used Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I woke up this morning, not knowing what to do with them, and I just started rolling and pinning my hair down and VIOLA! I call it the Twist, Roll, and Pin!!!

| (Side View) At least four twists rolled in a row on each side. |

| (Front View) I left six twists out for the illusion of having bangs. |
So...this is how I plan to wear my hair for the rest of the week. I'm attending a family dinner Friday night and I'm wondering if this style will change. I 've committed myself to wearing protective styles only, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE seeing my hair! I'll be good...maybe...
Healthy Living Update!
Me and the Daniel Fast: I barely made it through Week 1 without meat. Don't get me wrong now...I enjoy some meats, but I only eat it once a week. I did eat healthy foods, but I noticed that I need to plan better meals. It also made me realize that everything is NOT for everybody. I hope to be ready for the next round...until then, I am eating foods I believe will help reduce allergy/ezcema flares.
Let me know your healthy changes for the new year!
Later!
